The absurdity of central planning

Isn’t it hilarious that myopic idiots in banking and the media obsess over one number as if getting this number “right” is the key to the universe.

Guys, I have a message for you: Central planning has NEVER worked.  You are as likely to get this number “right” as you are in “fixing” the price for bread or milk in the old Soviet Union.

And yet, they keep trying.
