It’s too late baby

Some reasonable ideas to stop the madness.  All much, much too late.

It’s too late, baby.

The show gets worse from here on, regardless of the policy response.  Years of malinvestments mean massive unemployment.  Massive unemployment means massive foreclosures.  Massive foreclosures mean banks wiped out, FDIC bankruptcy, tax revenues slashed and soaring social security payments.  This eventually breaks the back of the middle class and the family-based agricultural sector.  We’ll have a few insanely rich bankers, lots of government employees doing nothing, a few Monsantos producing potentially toxic food, and no self-sufficient farms.

Once social breakdown occurs, what are most of the populace going to eat, if not themselves?
